RockSigma joins the Western Australia Ground Control Group

Being an important mining region overall, and having many seismically active underground mines in particular, makes Western Australia a high-priority market for RockSigma.

We will be participating and presenting at the upcoming Western Australia Ground Control Group meeting in Kalgoorlie on July 20th.  The theme for the meeting is high stress mining and presenters will focus on topics such as numerical modeling, seismic analysis, ground support designs and more.

RockSigma fits right into the seismic analysis topic and we are happy to be speaking in front of this highly skilled group of people in what we believe will be a collaborative environment, open to new ideas.  Jesper Martinsson, founder and CTO of RockSigma, will be talking about how our novel approach to seismic processing contributes to analysis work. While the exact title of the talk is yet to be determined, we do promise some elements of demonstration of our recently announced products.

The Western Australian Ground Control Group is a forum for discussion on ground control practices in the mining industry, with multiple meetings each year in Perth and Kalgoorllie. The group, which has been around for nearly 20 years, welcomes membership and contributions from those involved with ground control from mining, consulting, contracting and supply companies, from universities and government.
